I designed and built a cross-border digital platform dedicated to showcasing global culture through design and visual storytelling. The project focused on creating a responsive, user-centered interface in Figma and developing scalable brand systems that could adapt seamlessly across diverse international contexts. By producing over ten inclusive design assets and interface components, the platform elevated how stories were communicated across languages and cultures — resulting in a 72% growth in engagement from non-U.S. audiences. This case study explores how thoughtful design decisions and storytelling-driven interfaces can bridge cultural boundaries and foster global connection.

This project is a cross-border digital platform designed to celebrate and share global culture through design and visual storytelling. Built in Figma, it features a responsive, scalable interface tailored for diverse international audiences and includes over ten inclusive design assets and interface components. By prioritizing cultural nuance and accessibility, the platform transformed how stories are communicated across contexts — resulting in a 72% increase in engagement from non-U.S. audiences and demonstrating how thoughtful UI can bridge cultural boundaries.

In this self-initiated project, I redesigned Barnard College’s Center for Accessibility Resources & Disability Services (CARDS) website to create a clearer, more inclusive, and neurodivergent-friendly experience. The legacy site’s dense content and poor hierarchy were reimagined through desk research, SWOT analysis, and competitor benchmarking, leading to improved information architecture and wireframes. Built in Figma, the final redesign introduces screen reader–friendly structure, collapsible sections that reduce visual overload by 40%, WCAG-compliant color contrast, audio accessibility features, and a more welcoming visual identity. By centering accessibility as a core design principle, the project demonstrates how inclusive UX can expand reach, boost engagement, and foster a stronger sense of belonging.
